It is time for the new generation to take over the school board of Miami, Florida.
It's up to you to maintain the status quo of elected officials, who reality "don't" care, or elect someone with 14 years of experience as an educator with new ideas and the passion necessary to protect our children and taxes, who will listen to your concerns and find real solutions to the problems the school system have been carrying over through all these years.
Mr. Manny Diaz Jr. founded FELC Tutors with his partners and has served as a teacher, coach, and administrator in Miami Dade County Public Schools for 14 years. Through his involvement he launched the company’s Chicago Operation in 2006 serving over 700 students with Supplemental Educational Services. He has also assisted in expansion in Texas and throughout Florida. Mr. Diaz has been instrumental in pushing for SES legislation in Florida that improves the quality of the industry. He serves on the Board of Directors of FELC Tutors which is currently the top SES provider in Miami Dade County, Florida (4th largest district in the Country). He also serves on the Board of Directors for Friends in Education, a non-profit educational foundation. He serves as the President for Endeavor Management Organization, and is a key member of the SES start up team that travels nationwide providing consultation to districts and providers. He has become very familiar with the legislative and policies of NCLB. Mr. Diaz has also overseen the renovation and opening of the first Beyond the Bell Learning center.
Mr. Manny Diaz Jr. is a graduate of St. Thomas University and received his M.S. from Nova Southeastern University. A former two-time Scholar Athlete of the year at St. Thomas, Mr. Diaz specializes in Expansion and Legislative Affairs. He completed the Prestigious Harvard Principal’s Institute at Harvard Graduate School of Education in 2006.
