Cramp during pregnancy is a common factor in pregnancy. Having cramps in your lower abdominal area or lower back in early pregnancy is not necessarily a symptom of miscarriage.

Cramping without bleeding during pregnancy is usually not a sign of miscarriage. Cramps or brief pains in your lower abdomen can happen early in a normal pregnancy as your uterus adjusts to the implanted baby.

If you have any consisten cramps during your pregnancy, it is important to contact your doctor or a medical facility to evaluate if you could be having a miscarriage
